Pipeline transportation technology
Pipeline transportation is a logistical process about transporting of the raw materials extracted from oil & gas fields to the refining facility acting as a bridge between upstream and downstream operations.
Oil transporting pipelines are usually made of steel pipes or plastic tubes buried beneath the surface and the oil transports from the production field to the refining facility with the help of pump stations.
Natural gas pipelines are made of carbon steel for transporting of raw gases from producing fields to the processing facility.
